Government Savings Bank centralises 400 branches with VAULT

Government Savings Bank is Thailand's oldest state-owned bank, with 400+ branches nationwide. Distributed networks of this shape — a few doors per site, hundreds of sites — break the assumptions of platforms built for big campuses. The bank needed something built for the opposite shape: thin edge, central console.

Challenge

Most access platforms are built for big sites. Thin distributed deployments — a couple of doors per branch, hundreds of branches — break their assumptions about hardware density, network reliability, and management overhead. Government Savings Bank needed something built for the opposite shape.

Solution

VAULT runs as a centralised platform with thin-edge deployments at each branch. Credentials propagate from HQ; branch managers operate locally; every event rolls up to the Bangkok console in real time.

Centralised credential management

All credentials issued and revoked from Bangkok HQ — no local administration overhead.

Thin-deployment architecture

1–2 doors per site — minimal hardware, low operational cost per branch.

Single console for 400 sites

Every branch reports to the same dashboard in real time.

Results

Government Savings Bank runs one of Thailand's largest distributed branch deployments — every site reporting to the same console, credentials managed centrally.

A national branch network isn't 400 deployments. It's one platform with 400 endpoints. The architecture has to start from that assumption.
