Online Guard Touring is an additional security feature involving
the close monitoring of guard patrol movement through their
assigned routes in a security areas. During a Guard Tour, patrolling
guards swipe their Guard Tour cards at specific card readers
along their tour, which register on their daily tour
schedule.
Each Guard Tour has a strict schedule, with a list of periods
during which the patrolling guard must swipe his or her Guard
Tour card at a particular Tour card reader. If a guard is
late swiping his or her card, or misses swiping a card reader
along the tour, it is automatically assumed that the guard
may have run into some kind of trouble and an alert will be
activated, informing other security personnel in real-time.
- Real Time Video Display and Recording
There is a need in many facilities for guard tour systems
to be able to verify that a guard or guards are visiting
their appointed guard tour system stations or stops. The
guard is to check each station for unlocked doors, broken
glass, hazardous waste or other conditions that depart from
normal. These are referred to as "incidents".
High security facilities such as embassies and certain manufacturing
complexes require guard tour systems to tell them if the
guard does not arrive on time at any given station. If the
guard is late, the real time system can generate an immediate
alarm and can provide the guard's name and input incidents
such as broken glass or door unlocked. Some incidents may
also require action to be taken immediately which can be
automated by the system thus eliminating human error due
to inattention or forgetfulness. Also, a real time guard
tour system can give immediate and automated instructions
to a guard as to how to respond to certain incidents.
- After Tour Monitoring and reporting
For applications which require knowledge of a guard's
timely presence, a real time guard tour system is appropriate.
Any how, after tour reports is a must to check the report
of every incident that had already occur in order to trace
the next incident and prevent it from happening.
For management that want to print a daily report of any
security guard tour stations that were missed or a report
with only the security guard tour system stations that had
incidents to log can be done with just a few click.
- Easy To Assign
Easy to assign guard tour route and can be vary from
day to day. The guard carries a card which he positions
onto the reader device at check point. The card is read
by the reader and the date and time is appended in the controller
and sent to the center. The controller has a unique address
number and it is assigned to a particular guard and indicated
by the guard's name. The guard will carry a few cards in
his/her pocket with each labeled with a possible event such
as unlocked door, hazardous waste and etc. The guard can
then scan the appropriate incident and that information
is added to the station visit and sent to center. Each check
point can be assign with a time limits and the guard must
reach the check point at the time define.
- 50 guard route can be set
- 32 check point can be allocate on one single system
- 5 different user define events can be assign
